Minimum Age: 12
(See Note 1)

Course Cost: $50 - $450 (See Note 2)

Minimum number of logged dives: 50

Prerequisites: PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization).

Course Fees Include:
  • Up to 5 PADI Dive Specialty certifications (dependant on course cost). See Course Overview for specialty choices
  • All academic instruction
  • Use tanks & weights during the course
  • Quarry entry fees
  • PADI Master Scuba Diver Certification Card (good for life)
  • Lifetime support - Call or email if you ever have any Scuba-related questions

Not Included:
  • Academic materials for the chosen specialties
  • PADI Application Fee - call for current price
  • Transportation & expenses if open water dives are conducted in the ocean.

Equipment Requirements: Divers should have their own gear (mask, fins, snorkel, BCD & regulator). I supply the tanks & weights.

Location: Open Water (quarry or ocean)

1. Upon course completion, student divers who are 15 years and older will receive the Master SCUBA Diver rating; student divers who are between the ages 12-14 will receive the Junior Master SCUBA Diver rating.
Junior Master SCUBA Divers may upgrade their certification level to Master SCUBA Diver when they reach the age of 15 with no additional requirements.

2. The price of the course depends on the number of specialty certifications you have already completed. The highest price assumes you do not have any speciality certifications.

Course Overview:
With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you've reached the highest non professional level in the PADI System of diver education. It means that you’ve acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

The course consists of two parts:

  • Academics - The academics is self-study. You will need to read the specialty course materials and take the chapter quizzes for each specialty. We'll get together throughout the course to answer any questions, review material and grade the quizzes.
  • Open Water dives - The specialty course dives are conducted either in a local quarry, in Florida or on a Caribbean dive trip.
